On arrival at the Amboseli airstrip, about 35 minutes from Nairobi, (4-5 hour drive from the city) guests are picked up by awaiting hotel and embark on a drive through the wide dry plains of Amboseli. Herds of the wild grazers can be seen on the way... zebras, buffalos, impala, wildebeests going about their way arbitrarily. And not forgetting the famous Amboseli Jumbos dwarfed by the impending presence of Kilimanjaro as they make their way through the plains.

Set south-east of the legendary park against the back drop of the picturesque snow-capped Mount Kilimajaro, Sentrim Amboseli Lodge guarantees an exciting Safari experience. Not to be missed are the adventurous morning and evening game drives. The morning game drive starts at six in the morning while the evening game drive is at four in the evening. This is the best chance to feast your eyes on a predator on the prowl and the magical chase that leads to the eventual kill. After dinner, the evening sundowners provide an opportunity to relax at the lodge’s bar lounge and savour the warm friendly service as you share experiences of the day in the Amboseli wild with other guests.
